Workout Wednesday: Yoga Part II

Today’s FMS Photo-A-Day requested a picture taken from above which shows me (from the waist down), my yoga mat, and water bottle while I waited for my yoga instructor to arrive.

I have already written a post on Yoga so this is more of an update of how I have been doing. I have to admit that yoga has really helped me tremendously with my other workouts. These are the areas where I’ve noticed the most improvement:

  • Balance
  • Plank exercise
  • Ab work

Many positions and poses in Zumba and Rep Reebok are also looking better since I added one yoga class a week. So, in conclusion, when searching for the benefits of yoga the results center around health benefits but I got to say, your other exercises will benefit too so I recommend that you give it a try if you haven’t already.
